Children's bedrooms

BUILDING WORK IN PROGRESS

Homestall Road - Polina's room - revised view from mural.png

The brief for these two rooms was to deliver fully bespoke raised structures that could make the best use of the rooms' generous ceiling height as well as introduce a high level of recreational features, including climbing elements.

The designs use the space to their full potential and are future-proofed to evolve as the children grow older.

The older brother's room is inspired by his passion for rockets and space exploration. It features a large loft net made from the same material used on catamarans' trampolines and some climbing elements hung from the reinforced ceiling joists.

His little sister's room is rainforest inspired and has its own little tree hut as well as a slide!

These designs focused heavily on technical space planning strategies with complex electrical and lighting schemes to match.
