My name is Delphine. I’m a French national and have lived in London for the past 14 years. I’ve always been passionate about art, craft and everything design related.
A few years ago, I decided to put my passion for interiors to good use and pursue the ambitious project of turning people’s homes into a space they can truly put their mark on, a space where they feel nurtured, safe, and inspired.
I love creating spaces for families and friends to come together (entertaining is a big thing in France). I have a young daughter and so very well understand the importance of a home needing to be multi-purpose, one to support all daily activities of a busy life, but also one to find relaxation and escape the madness.
I am naturally very curious (and let's be honest, a tad stubborn!) and will research many options until I find one that works for you.
My design style
My style is fairly eclectic, I like modern, relaxed interiors that are fit for family living and I dig into heritage and global influences for my designs.
I like natural materials that give an instant feeling of warmth and sophistication, such as stone and natural weaves.
I enjoy pairing strong colours with more muted ones, I particularly like greens, blues, and pinks, which I find complement tones found in wood and other natural materials well. I like colour schemes that are invigorating enough to boost creativity and inspiration without shouting too loudly, so that relaxing and calming effects are present too.
Large and unique pieces that make a statement as well as accessories that tell a story are important to me.
I love natural, vintage and distressed finishes. I prefer warm metals, such as antique gold or copper over chrome and shiny surfaces. My preference is for matte over gloss and I’m quite partial to a strong wallpaper design.
I find coloured glass pendant lights and chandeliers exquisite.
Sustainability is also a large part of my design process and I love researching innovative materials that make the space truly unique and full of personality.
